Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support the development of a data platform that presents school system performance data in a clear, actionable, and user-friendly format. This role focuses on transforming complex education data into meaningful insights and practical recommendations that help school systems identify priorities, set measurable goals, and improve outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings strong data analytics expertise, experience building dashboards and low-code solutions, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze school system data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain low-code platforms (Power Platform, Qualtrics, etc.) to display data and collect stakeholder inputs.
- Build dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI) that consolidate performance data into a centralized view.
- Design systems (forms, surveys, applications) that automate data collection and organization for easy interpretation.
- Analyze statutory data across multiple federal and state plans to identify redundancies and recommend streamlined approaches.
- Develop scorecards, trackers, and Excel-based tools to monitor progress and measure impact.
- Present insights to stakeholders in a way that supports strategic planning and decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Data Storytelling.
- 8+ years of experience working with low-code platforms.
- 5+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
- 3+ years of experience building data visualizations in Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Qualtrics.
- Experience with Smartsheet.
- Experience working with state agencies, school systems, or in the education sector.
