Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Software Engineer to support enterprise application development initiatives within a highly collaborative Agile environment. This role requires strong hands-on Salesforce development expertise and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions across multiple environments.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Apex, Lightning development, integrations, and end-to-end Salesforce implementations, including data migrations and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Visualforce.
- Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Support classic-to-Lightning upgrades, integrations, and data migration efforts.
- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP integrations with third-party and internal systems.
- Implement authentication protocols (OAuth) and secure integration patterns.
- Perform code reviews, testing, documentation, and defect resolution.
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps best practices.
- Participate in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience including:
- Apex programming
- Visualforce pages
- Apex triggers
- Aura Components
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules
- 8+ years of experience working within the SDLC, including coding standards, change management, and version control.
- 8+ years of experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce implementations, including data migrations, integrations, and custom development.
- 8+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-based and on-prem applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and XML.
- Experience implementing OAuth and secure integration architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Flosum, Git, etc.).
- Experience building custom Salesforce Reports and Dashboards.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be local to the Austin, TX area and able to work onsite two days per week.
- Must be able to work on a W2 basis only (no C2C, 1099, or third-party vendors).
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or visa transfer.
