Salary: $65,000–$75,000 + 10% Bonus
A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support revenue cycle performance, reporting, analytics, and operational improvement initiatives across a multi-physician, multi-location practice environment.
This role is ideal for a healthcare revenue cycle professional who enjoys working with data, identifying trends, solving problems, and partnering with operational leaders to improve financial performance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the end-to-end revenue cycle and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze revenue cycle performance metrics and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement
- Monitor key performance indicators related to scheduling, eligibility, charge capture, claims management, denials, collections, and payments
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations to support decision-making
- Identify trends, variances, and root causes impacting revenue cycle performance
- Collaborate with operational leaders and revenue cycle teams to implement process improvements and best practices
- Support ongoing performance monitoring across multiple practice locations
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, special projects, and strategic initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and actionable manner
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting platforms and practice management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3–5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience with a strong focus on analytics, reporting, or performance improvement
- Thorough understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, including scheduling, eligibility, charge capture, claims processing, denials, and payment posting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested formulas, and data analysis
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-level presentations and data-driven recommendations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-location healthcare organizations
- Ophthalmology or retina experience is a plus but not required
- Experience with practice management systems such as Nextech or NextGen
- Experience with monday.com
- Hands-on experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Viewgol and Tableau
- Familiarity with SQL or other data query tools
- Experience presenting data and recommendations to executive leadership teams
