A Texas-based organization is seeking a Database Administrator with strong experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, database design, and enterprise reporting environments. This role will support the development, maintenance, optimization, and administration of enterprise database and data warehouse solutions while partnering with both technical and business teams to deliver high-quality analytics and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the installation, migration, maintenance, and administration of enterprise database environments
- Analyze, design, modify, and maintain database structures and data warehouse solutions
- Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Establish and maintain database security controls and user access management
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization improvements
- Develop logical and physical data models including Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and normalized database structures
- Support ETL processes and data integration initiatives
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, documentation, standards, and procedures
- Partner with technical and business teams to support reporting, analytics, and decision-support initiatives
- Assist with database software evaluation, implementation, and ongoing support
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise database management systems and data warehouse environments
- 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouses and data marts
- Strong understanding of data modeling methodologies including Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and normalized data structures
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, IBM DataStage, or similar technologies
- Experience with enterprise databases including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or comparable platforms
- Experience with analytical and reporting tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy, or similar technologies
- Experience with data warehouse implementation projects from business requirements through database design, data sourcing, transformation, loading, and reporting
- Strong SQL and database design experience
- Experience building and maintaining data dictionaries and metadata repositories
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Database experience
- SSRS report development experience
- M204 database experience
- Experience with enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and decision-support systems
- Understanding of benchmarking methodologies and database performance optimization techniques
- Experience supporting highly regulated enterprise environments
