THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a privately held, global manufacturing and engineering organization as a Senior Financial Business Systems Analyst, playing a key role in optimizing the company’s JD Edwards ERP environment.

THE ROLE

The Senior Financial Business Systems Analyst will serve as a key JD Edwards Financials functional expert, working directly with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into practical, scalable ERP solutions.

This role combines hands-on JDE functional expertise, business analysis, process improvement, project leadership, and strong stakeholder partnership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to identify needs, define requirements, and translate business challenges into effective JD Edwards solutions.
• Serve as a JD Edwards Financials subject matter expert across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, financial reporting, and related processes.
• Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve system utilization, automate activities, and increase operational efficiency.
• Configure and enhance JD Edwards functionality to support evolving Finance and Accounting requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and development teams on system enhancements, integrations, reporting, and other JDE initiatives.
• Lead JDE-related projects from planning through implementation, including requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, testing, documentation, training, and user adoption.
• Provide guidance and support to business users, helping teams maximize the capabilities of the JD Edwards platform.
• Support data quality, system governance, security, financial controls, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate new JD Edwards capabilities and industry best practices and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.

IDEAL BACKGROUND

• 7+ years of ERP Business Systems Analyst experience, including significant hands-on experience supporting JD Edwards financial applications.
• Strong functional expertise with JD Edwards Financials, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, and related financial processes.
• Experience with additional JD Edwards modules is a plus.
• Working technical knowledge of JDE configuration, integrations, and related development tools.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading ERP projects and initiatives from requirements through successful implementation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Accounting, IT, leadership, and external partners.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or global business environment is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% as business needs require.

This is an on-site position in Danboro, Pennsylvania. Candidates should currently live within a reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is available.
