AI Architect (Azure AI / Copilot / GenAI)
Central North Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
12-Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI solutions, with a focus on Generative AI, Azure AI services, and Copilot technologies.
This role combines strategic architecture with hands-on development, and requires strong communication skills to partner with leadership on AI roadmaps and adoption strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Architecture & Strategy
- Design end-to-end AI architectures using Microsoft AI platforms (Azure AI, Copilot, etc.)
- Define scalable reference architectures for Generative AI solutions
- Guide platform teams on AI infrastructure readiness and best practices
- Optimize compute, storage, and operational costs
- Establish AI governance frameworks aligned with security, compliance, and data standards
- Design monitoring, auditability, and lifecycle management for AI systems
AI Development & Integration
- Develop AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio
- Build LLM-powered applications (RAG, embeddings, vector search)
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and APIs
- Work with Microsoft ecosystem tools (Power Platform, Power BI, Fabric, Graph API)
- Design and extend Copilot-based solutions
Leadership & Advisory
- Identify AI use cases and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Define AI roadmaps, blueprints, and adoption strategies
- Present solutions and strategies to executive leadership
- Mentor development teams and support proof-of-concept initiatives
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search)
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI, Copilot, and Microsoft AI ecosystem
- Experience integrating AI solutions via REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, Fabric
- Strong architectural design and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (technical + executive level)
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. Citizen or Green Card required)
- W2 employment only (no C2C or third-party arrangements)
- Ability to work onsite in North Dallas 3 days per week
- TSA PreCheck eligibility required
